I will not drive them out before you in one year, lest the land become desolate and the wild animals multiply against you.

You are to join five curtains by themselves and six curtains by themselves. You are to double over the sixth curtain at the front of the tent.

At the two corners they must be doubled at the lower end and finished together at the top in one ring. So it will be for both.

and one round flat cake of bread, one perforated cake of oiled bread, and one wafer from the basket of bread made without yeast that is before the Lord.

Moses said, “It is not the sound of those who shout for victory, nor is it the sound of those who cry because they are overcome, but the sound of singing I hear.”

Moses saw that the people were running wild, for Aaron had let them get completely out of control, causing derision from their enemies.

The locusts went up over all the land of Egypt and settled down in all the territory of Egypt. It was very severe; there had been no locusts like them before, nor will there be such ever again.

This is how you are to eat it – dressed to travel, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand. You are to eat it in haste. It is the Lord’s Passover.

They are to eat those things by which atonement was made to consecrate and to set them apart, but no one else may eat them, for they are holy.

The rich are not to increase it, and the poor are not to pay less than the half shekel when giving the offering of the Lord, to make atonement for your lives.

The slave masters were pressuring them, saying, “Complete your work for each day, just like when there was straw!”

But Moses said before the Lord, “Since I speak with difficulty, why should Pharaoh listen to me?”

Each man threw down his staff, and the staffs became snakes. But Aaron’s staff swallowed up their staffs.

So Moses extended his hand toward heaven, and there was absolute darkness throughout the land of Egypt for three days.
