I begged your disciples to cast it out, but they could not do so.”

So too a Levite, when he came up to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side.

When it returns, it finds the house swept clean and put in order.

And when you see the south wind blowing, you say, ‘There will be scorching heat,’ and there is.

But they remained silent. So Jesus took hold of the man, healed him, and sent him away.

So he came down quickly and welcomed Jesus joyfully.

So the king said to him, ‘And you are to be over five cities.’

So he sent still a third. They even wounded this one, and threw him out.

Then he told them a parable: “Look at the fig tree and all the other trees.
