The one who oppresses the poor insults his Creator, but whoever shows favor to the needy honors him.

Doing wickedness is an abomination to kings, because a throne is established in righteousness.

The one who mocks the poor insults his Creator; whoever rejoices over disaster will not go unpunished.

The ear that hears and the eye that sees – the Lord has made them both.

The violence done by the wicked will drag them away because they refuse to do what is right.
