And immediately the man’s ears were opened, his tongue loosened, and he spoke plainly.

“I have compassion on the crowd, because they have already been here with me three days, and they have nothing to eat.

“When I broke the seven loaves for the four thousand, how many baskets full of pieces did you pick up?” They replied, “Seven.”

He spoke openly about this. So Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him.

They kept this statement to themselves, discussing what this rising from the dead meant.

Then they asked him, “Why do the experts in the law say that Elijah must come first?”

When the whole crowd saw him, they were amazed and ran at once and greeted him.

Immediately the father of the boy cried out and said, “I believe; help my unbelief!”

Then some Pharisees came, and to test him they asked, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife?”

But at this statement, the man looked sad and went away sorrowful, for he was very rich.

but to sit at my right or at my left is not mine to give. It is for those for whom it has been prepared.”

Many scolded him to get him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”

Some people standing there said to them, “What are you doing, untying that colt?”
