Then Moses commanded the Israelites: “This is the land which you will inherit by lot, which the Lord has commanded to be given to the nine and a half tribes,

just as the Lord had commanded Moses. And so he numbered them in the wilderness of Sinai.

“‘If you sin unintentionally and do not observe all these commandments that the Lord has spoken to Moses –

So the whole community took him outside the camp and stoned him to death, just as the Lord commanded Moses.

So Moses did as the Lord commanded; and they went up Mount Hor in the sight of the whole community.

Moses told the leaders of the tribes concerning the Israelites, “This is what the Lord has commanded:

They said, “The Lord commanded my lord to give the land as an inheritance by lot to the Israelites; and my lord was commanded by the Lord to give the inheritance of our brother Zelophehad to his daughters.

So Moses said to them, “Remain here and I will hear what the Lord will command concerning you.”

But Moses said, “Why are you now transgressing the commandment of the Lord? It will not succeed!

So the Gadites and the Reubenites replied to Moses, “Your servants will do as my lord commands.

Moses gave the redemption money to Aaron and his sons, according to the word of the Lord, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

And Aaron did so; he set up the lamps to face toward the front of the lampstand, as the Lord commanded Moses.

So Moses did as the Lord commanded him; he took Joshua and set him before Eleazar the priest and before the whole community.

He laid his hands on him and commissioned him, just as the Lord commanded, by the authority of Moses.

So Moses and Eleazar the priest received the gold from the commanders of thousands and commanders of hundreds and brought it into the tent of meeting as a memorial for the Israelites before the Lord.

This was the first time they set out on their journey according to the commandment of the Lord, by the authority of Moses.

So Moses gave the tribute, which was the Lord’s raised offering, to Eleazar the priest, as the Lord commanded Moses.

These are the ones whom the Lord commanded to divide up the inheritance among the Israelites in the land of Canaan.

“Command the Israelites to expel from the camp every leper, everyone who has a discharge, and whoever becomes defiled by a corpse.

So Moses sent them from the wilderness of Paran at the command of the Lord. All of them were leaders of the Israelites.
