When he entered Capernaum, a centurion came to him asking for help:

Now when Jesus saw a large crowd around him, he gave orders to go to the other side of the lake.

As he got into the boat, his disciples followed him.

And the news of this spread throughout that region.

Do not take gold, silver, or copper in your belts,

And you will be brought before governors and kings because of me, as a witness to them and the Gentiles.

When they went up into the boat, the wind ceased.

After going out from there, Jesus went to the region of Tyre and Sidon.

When the disciples went to the other side, they forgot to take bread.

And leaving them, he went out of the city to Bethany and spent the night there.

They wanted to arrest him, but they were afraid of the crowds, because the crowds regarded him as a prophet.

then those in Judea must flee to the mountains.

But at midnight there was a shout, ‘Look, the bridegroom is here! Come out to meet him.’

When the disciples saw this, they became indignant and said, “Why this waste?

After singing a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.

But after I am raised, I will go ahead of you into Galilee.”

Then they spat in his face and struck him with their fists. And some slapped him,

So Judas threw the silver coins into the temple and left. Then he went out and hanged himself.

and they gave them for the potter’s field, as the Lord commanded me.”

They came to a place called Golgotha (which means “Place of the Skull”)
