Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to visit Cephas and get information from him, and I stayed with him fifteen days.

After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, in the time of King Herod, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem

not by earth, because it is his footstool, and not by Jerusalem, because it is the city of the great King.

As Jesus was going up to Jerusalem, he took the twelve aside privately and said to them on the way,

“Look, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be handed over to the chief priests and the experts in the law. They will condemn him to death,

They came again to Jerusalem. While Jesus was walking in the temple courts, the chief priests, the experts in the law, and the elders came up to him

When he was in Galilee, they had followed him and given him support. Many other women who had come up with him to Jerusalem were there too.

Now when the time came for their purification according to the law of Moses, Joseph and Mary brought Jesus up to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord

When he learned that he was from Herod’s jurisdiction, he sent him over to Herod, who also happened to be in Jerusalem at that time.

Our fathers worshiped on this mountain, and you people say that the place where people must worship is in Jerusalem.”

Jesus said to her, “Believe me, woman, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem.

Now the Jewish feast of Passover was near, and many people went up to Jerusalem from the rural areas before the Passover to cleanse themselves ritually.

While he was with them, he declared, “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait there for what my Father promised, which you heard about from me.

Now when the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaria had accepted the word of God, they sent Peter and John to them.

So after Peter and John had solemnly testified and spoken the word of the Lord, they started back to Jerusalem, proclaiming the good news to many Samaritan villages as they went.
