“Just as the Father has loved me, I have also loved you; remain in my love.

The glory you gave to me I have given to them, that they may be one just as we are one –

So, brothers and sisters, I could not speak to you as spiritual people, but instead as people of the flesh, as infants in Christ.

To the unmarried and widows I say that it is best for them to remain as I am.
