We know that God has spoken to Moses! We do not know where this man comes from!”

Then they secretly instigated some men to say, “We have heard this man speaking blasphemous words against Moses and God.”

So Moses was trained in all the wisdom of the Egyptians and was powerful in his words and deeds.

When Moses saw it, he was amazed at the sight, and when he approached to investigate, there came the voice of the Lord,

For he says to Moses: “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.”

For Moses writes about the righteousness that is by the law: “The one who does these things will live by them.”

Now Moses was faithful in all God’s house as a servant, to testify to the things that would be spoken.

For which ones heard and rebelled? Was it not all who came out of Egypt under Moses’ leadership?

For it is clear that our Lord is descended from Judah, yet Moses said nothing about priests in connection with that tribe.

In fact, the scene was so terrifying that Moses said, “I shudder with fear.”

Jesus said to them, “Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because of your hard hearts, but from the beginning it was not this way.

For Moses said, ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and, ‘Whoever insults his father or mother must be put to death.’

Now when the time came for their purification according to the law of Moses, Joseph and Mary brought Jesus up to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord

He replied to him, ‘If they do not respond to Moses and the prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’”

But even Moses revealed that the dead are raised in the passage about the bush, where he calls the Lord the God of Abraham and the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob.

“Do not suppose that I will accuse you before the Father. The one who accuses you is Moses, in whom you have placed your hope.

Hasn’t Moses given you the law? Yet not one of you keeps the law! Why do you want to kill me?”

But if a male child is circumcised on the Sabbath so that the law of Moses is not broken, why are you angry with me because I made a man completely well on the Sabbath?

At that time Moses was born, and he was beautiful to God. For three months he was brought up in his father’s house,

When the man said this, Moses fled and became a foreigner in the land of Midian, where he became the father of two sons.
