When he came out, he was not able to speak to them. They realized that he had seen a vision in the holy place, because he was making signs to them and remained unable to speak.

An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were absolutely terrified.

When they saw him, they related what they had been told about this child,

So he stood over her, commanded the fever, and it left her. Immediately she got up and began to serve them.

He also told them a parable: “Someone who is blind cannot lead another who is blind, can he? Won’t they both fall into a pit?

Her parents were astonished, but he ordered them to tell no one what had happened.

After Jesus called the twelve together, he gave them power and authority over all demons and to cure diseases,

They all ate and were satisfied, and what was left over was picked up – twelve baskets of broken pieces.

Heal the sick in that town and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come upon you!’

But the Pharisees and the experts in the law were complaining, “This man welcomes sinners and eats with them.”

Now people were even bringing their babies to him for him to touch. But when the disciples saw it, they began to scold those who brought them.

Then Jesus said to them, “Neither will I tell you by whose authority I do these things.”

So they threw him out of the vineyard and killed him. What then will the owner of the vineyard do to them?

So Jesus said to them, “The people of this age marry and are given in marriage.

He went away and discussed with the chief priests and officers of the temple guard how he might betray Jesus, handing him over to them.

So they said, “Look, Lord, here are two swords.” Then he told them, “It is enough.”

So he said to them, “Why are you sleeping? Get up and pray that you will not fall into temptation!”

While they were talking and debating these things, Jesus himself approached and began to accompany them

Then beginning with Moses and all the prophets, he interpreted to them the things written about himself in all the scriptures.

Then they told what had happened on the road, and how they recognized him when he broke the bread.
