Peter said to him, “Even if they all fall away, I will not!”

When Judas arrived, he went up to Jesus immediately and said, “Rabbi!” and kissed him.

Then they took hold of him and arrested him.

A young man was following him, wearing only a linen cloth. They tried to arrest him,

They put a purple cloak on him and after braiding a crown of thorns, they put it on him.

They offered him wine mixed with myrrh, but he did not take it.

And they crucified two outlaws with him, one on his right and one on his left.

Then some began to spit on him, and to blindfold him, and to strike him with their fists, saying, “Prophesy!” The guards also took him and beat him.

Moved with compassion, Jesus stretched out his hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing. Be clean!”

So the Pharisees said to him, “Look, why are they doing what is against the law on the Sabbath?”

Because of the crowd, he told his disciples to have a small boat ready for him so the crowd would not press toward him.

For whoever has will be given more, but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him.”

Just as Jesus was getting out of the boat, a man with an unclean spirit came from the tombs and met him.

Jesus asked him, “What is your name?” And he said, “My name is Legion, for we are many.”

Now Jesus left that place and came to his hometown, and his disciples followed him.

So Herodias nursed a grudge against him and wanted to kill him. But she could not

Then he looked up to heaven and said with a sigh, “Ephphatha” (that is, “Be opened”).

His disciples answered him, “Where can someone get enough bread in this desolate place to satisfy these people?”

“When I broke the seven loaves for the four thousand, how many baskets full of pieces did you pick up?” They replied, “Seven.”

Then they came to Bethsaida. They brought a blind man to Jesus and asked him to touch him.
