So he called them and spoke to them in parables: “How can Satan cast out Satan?

He also said, “The kingdom of God is like someone who spreads seed on the ground.

He also asked, “To what can we compare the kingdom of God, or what parable can we use to present it?

He said to them, “Wherever you enter a house, stay there until you leave the area.

For John had repeatedly told Herod, “It is not lawful for you to have your brother’s wife.”

He also said to them, “You neatly reject the commandment of God in order to set up your tradition.

Then he called the crowd again and said to them, “Listen to me, everyone, and understand.

Immediately the father of the boy cried out and said, “I believe; help my unbelief!”

Pilate asked them, “Why? What has he done wrong?” But they shouted more insistently, “Crucify him!”

Thus Jesus asked, “What is the kingdom of God like? To what should I compare it?

Then when Jesus noticed how the guests chose the places of honor, he told them a parable. He said to them,

(Now he said this about Judas son of Simon Iscariot, for Judas, one of the twelve, was going to betray him.)

He said to them, “The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you. But to those outside, everything is in parables,

He also said to them, “A lamp isn’t brought to be put under a basket or under a bed, is it? Isn’t it to be placed on a lampstand?

And he said to them, “Take care about what you hear. The measure you use will be the measure you receive, and more will be added to you.

He said to her, “Let the children be satisfied first, for it is not right to take the children’s bread and to throw it to the dogs.”

While Jesus was teaching in the temple courts, he said, “How is it that the experts in the law say that the Christ is David’s son?

In his teaching Jesus also said, “Watch out for the experts in the law. They like walking around in long robes and elaborate greetings in the marketplaces,

He said, “Abba, Father, all things are possible for you. Take this cup away from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.”

So Pilate spoke to them again, “Then what do you want me to do with the one you call king of the Jews?”
