So Jesus said to them, “You cannot make the wedding guests fast while the bridegroom is with them, can you?

Jesus answered them, “Haven’t you read what David did when he and his companions were hungry –

So Jesus answered him, “Simon, I have something to say to you.” He replied, “Say it, Teacher.”

For nothing is hidden that will not be revealed, and nothing concealed that will not be made known and brought to light.

Jesus then asked him, “What is your name?” He said, “Legion,” because many demons had entered him.

Then a voice came from the cloud, saying, “This is my Son, my Chosen One. Listen to him!”

For just as Jonah became a sign to the people of Nineveh, so the Son of Man will be a sign to this generation.

That servant who knew his master’s will but did not get ready or do what his master asked will receive a severe beating.

So the master said to his slave, ‘Go out to the highways and country roads and urge people to come in, so that my house will be filled.
