So again they asked the man who used to be blind, “What do you say about him, since he caused you to see?” “He is a prophet,” the man replied.

So then, because he was a prophet and knew that God had sworn to him with an oath to seat one of his descendants on his throne,

Then the eunuch said to Philip, “Please tell me, who is the prophet saying this about – himself or someone else?”

Then Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his hometown, and among his relatives, and in his own house.”

Fear seized them all, and they began to glorify God, saying, “A great prophet has appeared among us!” and “God has come to help his people!”

Now when the Pharisee who had invited him saw this, he said to himself, “If this man were a prophet, he would know who and what kind of woman this is who is touching him, that she is a sinner.”
