and here he has authority from the chief priests to imprison all who call on your name!”

The people of Nineveh will stand up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it, because they repented when Jonah preached to them – and now, something greater than Jonah is here!

The queen of the South will rise up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it, because she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon – and now, something greater than Solomon is here!

I tell you the truth, there are some standing here who will not experience death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.”

Jesus answered, “You unbelieving and perverse generation! How much longer must I be with you? How much longer must I endure you? Bring him here to me.”

And he said to them, “Do you see all these things? I tell you the truth, not one stone will be left on another. All will be torn down!”
