How long, O God, will the adversary hurl insults? Will the enemy blaspheme your name forever?

Why, then, do these people of Jerusalem continually turn away from me in apostasy? They hold fast to their deception. They refuse to turn back to me.

The Lord confirms this oath by the arrogance of Jacob: “I swear I will never forget all you have done!
