Then he brought us to this place and gave us this land, a land flowing with milk and honey.

Now is the judgment of this world; now the ruler of this world will be driven out.

And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

Then he uttered this oracle: “O, who will survive when God does this!

But this I call to mind; therefore I have hope:

This temple will become a heap of ruins; everyone who passes by it will be shocked and will hiss out their scorn, saying, ‘Why did the Lord do this to this land and this temple?’

As for this temple, which was once majestic, everyone who passes by it will be shocked and say, ‘Why did the Lord do this to this land and this temple?’

He wrote a letter that went like this:

This saying is trustworthy and deserves full acceptance.

This is the law that Moses set before the Israelites.

“Who is this who darkens counsel with words without knowledge?

This has been my practice, for I observe your precepts.

In the year King Ahaz died, this message was revealed:

This is the message the Lord previously announced about Moab.

The officers replied, “No one ever spoke like this man!”

I say this as a concession, not as a command.

This is my defense to those who examine me.

For this reason I kneel before the Father,

For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality.
