So he returned to Judah and said, “I couldn’t find her. Moreover, the men of the place said, ‘There has been no cult prostitute here.’”

But then he drew back his hand, and his brother came out before him. She said, “How you have broken out of the womb!” So he was named Perez.

He turned away from them and wept. When he turned around and spoke to them again, he had Simeon taken from them and tied up before their eyes.

Then Joseph gave orders to fill their bags with grain, to return each man’s money to his sack, and to give them provisions for the journey. His orders were carried out.

When they finished eating the grain they had brought from Egypt, their father said to them, “Return, buy us a little more food.”

But when we came to the place where we spent the night, we opened our sacks and each of us found his money – the full amount – in the mouth of his sack. So we have returned it.

Look, the money that we found in the mouths of our sacks we brought back to you from the land of Canaan. Why then would we steal silver or gold from your master’s house?

Then Israel said to Joseph, “I am about to die, but God will be with you and will bring you back to the land of your fathers.

After he buried his father, Joseph returned to Egypt, along with his brothers and all who had accompanied him to bury his father.

The Lord said to Moses in Midian, “Go back to Egypt, because all the men who were seeking your life are dead.”

Then Moses took his wife and sons and put them on a donkey and headed back to the land of Egypt, and Moses took the staff of God in his hand.

Moses returned to the Lord, and said, “Lord, why have you caused trouble for this people? Why did you ever send me?

So Moses and Aaron were brought back to Pharaoh, and he said to them, “Go, serve the Lord your God. Exactly who is going with you?”

The Lord said to Moses, “Extend your hand toward the sea, so that the waters may flow back on the Egyptians, on their chariots, and on their horsemen!”

The water returned and covered the chariots and the horsemen and all the army of Pharaoh that was coming after the Israelites into the sea – not so much as one of them survived!

and all the people answered together, “All that the Lord has commanded we will do!” So Moses brought the words of the people back to the Lord.

So Moses returned to the Lord and said, “Alas, this people has committed a very serious sin, and they have made for themselves gods of gold.

“If the infection returns and breaks out in the house after he has pulled out the stones, scraped the house, and it is replastered,

but if only a few years remain until the jubilee, he must calculate for himself in keeping with the remaining years and refund it for his redemption.
