who then testified to everything that he saw concerning the word of God and the testimony about Jesus Christ.

I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s Day when I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet,

I turned to see whose voice was speaking to me, and when I did so, I saw seven golden lampstands,

You have appointed them as a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth.”

Then when the Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, “Come!”

Then when the Lamb opened the fourth seal I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, “Come!”

because the great day of their wrath has come, and who is able to withstand it?”

They will never go hungry or be thirsty again, and the sun will not beat down on them, nor any burning heat,

Now when the Lamb opened the seventh seal there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.

Then I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.

The smoke coming from the incense, along with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God from the angel’s hand.

Then they told me: “You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, languages, and kings.”

Then another angel came out of the temple in heaven, and he too had a sharp sickle.

She was permitted to be dressed in bright, clean, fine linen” (for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints).

But I say to you that anyone who is angry with a brother will be subjected to judgment. And whoever insults a brother will be brought before the council, and whoever says ‘Fool’ will be sent to fiery hell.

“Woe to you, experts in the law and you Pharisees, hypocrites! You give a tenth of mint, dill, and cumin, yet you neglect what is more important in the law – justice, mercy, and faithfulness! You should have done these things without neglecting the others.

Then he came down with them and stood on a level place. And a large number of his disciples had gathered along with a vast multitude from all over Judea, from Jerusalem, and from the seacoast of Tyre and Sidon. They came to hear him and to be healed of their diseases,

So Jesus went with them. When he was not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to say to him, “Lord, do not trouble yourself, for I am not worthy to have you come under my roof.

Then as the men were starting to leave, Peter said to Jesus, “Master, it is good for us to be here. Let us make three shelters, one for you and one for Moses and one for Elijah” – not knowing what he was saying.

And I did not recognize him, but the one who sent me to baptize with water said to me, ‘The one on whom you see the Spirit descending and remaining – this is the one who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.’
