“You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold guiltless anyone who takes his name in vain.

But if the servant should declare, ‘I love my master, my wife, and my children; I will not go out free,’

“I will send my terror before you, and I will destroy all the people whom you encounter; I will make all your enemies turn their backs to you.

According to all that I am showing you – the pattern of the tabernacle and the pattern of all its furnishings – you must make it exactly so.

You are to join five curtains by themselves and six curtains by themselves. You are to double over the sixth curtain at the front of the tent.

You are to overlay the frames with gold and make their rings of gold to provide places for the bars, and you are to overlay the bars with gold.

You are to put them in one basket and present them in the basket, along with the bull and the two rams.

But the meat of the bull, its skin, and its dung you are to burn up outside the camp. It is the purification offering.

They are to eat those things by which atonement was made to consecrate and to set them apart, but no one else may eat them, for they are holy.

He overlaid the frames with gold and made their rings of gold to provide places for the bars, and he overlaid the bars with gold.

He put the poles into the rings on the sides of the altar, with which to carry it. He made the altar hollow, out of boards.

They brought the tabernacle to Moses, the tent and all its furnishings, clasps, frames, bars, posts, and bases;

the woven garments for serving in the sanctuary, the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments for his sons to minister as priests.

Moses inspected all the work – and they had done it just as the Lord had commanded – they had done it exactly – and Moses blessed them.

Then you are to anoint the altar for the burnt offering with all its utensils; you are to sanctify the altar, and it will be the most holy altar.

Then he spread the tent over the tabernacle and put the covering of the tent over it, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

He took the testimony and put it in the ark, attached the poles to the ark, and then put the atonement lid on the ark.

And he brought the ark into the tabernacle, hung the protecting curtain, and shielded the ark of the testimony from view, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.

And he set up the courtyard around the tabernacle and the altar, and put the curtain at the gate of the courtyard. So Moses finished the work.
