‘The Lord said to my lord, “Sit at my right hand, until I put your enemies under your feet”’?

Therefore pay attention to what they tell you and do it. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they teach.

For I tell you, you will not see me from now until you say, ‘Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord!’”

Suddenly there was a severe earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descending from heaven came and rolled away the stone and sat on it.

“Leave us alone, Jesus the Nazarene! Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are – the Holy One of God!”

A crowd was sitting around him and they said to him, “Look, your mother and your brothers are outside looking for you.”

And he said to them, “Take care about what you hear. The measure you use will be the measure you receive, and more will be added to you.

He said to them, “How many loaves do you have? Go and see.” When they found out, they said, “Five – and two fish.”

After Jesus left there, he went to the region of Tyre. When he went into a house, he did not want anyone to know, but he was not able to escape notice.

They said to him, “Permit one of us to sit at your right hand and the other at your left in your glory.”

If anyone says to you, ‘Why are you doing this?’ say, ‘The Lord needs it and will send it back here soon.’”

But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid! Listen carefully, for I proclaim to you good news that brings great joy to all the people:

The devil said to him, “If you are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread.”

“Ha! Leave us alone, Jesus the Nazarene! Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are – the Holy One of God.”

When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Put out into the deep water and lower your nets for a catch.”

And if you lend to those from whom you hope to be repaid, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, so that they may be repaid in full.

Then he came up and touched the bier, and those who carried it stood still. He said, “Young man, I say to you, get up!”
