About three o’clock one afternoon he saw clearly in a vision an angel of God who came in and said to him, “Cornelius.”

About noon the next day, while they were on their way and approaching the city, Peter went up on the roof to pray.

When Peter realized this, he went to the house of Mary, the mother of John Mark, where many people had gathered together and were praying.

Immediately an angel of the Lord struck Herod down because he did not give the glory to God, and he was eaten by worms and died.
