And as he sowed, some seeds fell along the path, and the birds came and devoured them.

“But your eyes are blessed because they see, and your ears because they hear.

Don’t you understand that whatever goes into the mouth enters the stomach and then passes out into the sewer?

“Watch out,” Jesus said to them, “beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”

When they came to the crowd, a man came to him, knelt before him,

They wanted to arrest him, but they were afraid of the crowds, because the crowds regarded him as a prophet.

The same day Sadducees (who say there is no resurrection) came to him and asked him,

Now as Jesus was going out of the temple courts and walking away, his disciples came to show him the temple buildings.

But they said, “Not during the feast, so that there won’t be a riot among the people.”

But the days are coming when the bridegroom will be taken from them, and at that time they will fast.

And looking at those who were sitting around him in a circle, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers!

When he saw Jesus from a distance, he ran and bowed down before him.

Jesus went with him, and a large crowd followed and pressed around him.

He also said to them, “You neatly reject the commandment of God in order to set up your tradition.

And Jesus ordered them, “Watch out! Beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and the yeast of Herod!”

Now as they approached Jerusalem, near Bethphage and Bethany, at the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two of his disciples

So they brought one, and he said to them, “Whose image is this, and whose inscription?” They replied, “Caesar’s.”

For they said, “Not during the feast, so there won’t be a riot among the people.”

She did what she could. She anointed my body beforehand for burial.
