Then he said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Peter answered, “The Christ of God.”

Heal the sick in that town and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come upon you!’

So it is with the one who stores up riches for himself, but is not rich toward God.”

Then one of them, when he saw he was healed, turned back, praising God with a loud voice.

I tell you the truth, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child will never enter it.”

Jesus said to him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone.

When Jesus noticed this, he said, “How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God!

Now he is not God of the dead, but of the living, for all live before him.”

So also you, when you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near.

For I tell you, I will not eat it again until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God.”

So they all said, “Are you the Son of God, then?” He answered them, “You say that I am.”

Now when the centurion saw what had happened, he praised God and said, “Certainly this man was innocent!”

So the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God!

Aren’t five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten before God.

He said, “In a certain city there was a judge who neither feared God nor respected people.

But from now on the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of the power of God.”

nor will they say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or ‘There!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is in your midst.”

Then Jesus said to them, “I tell you the truth, there is no one who has left home or wife or brothers or parents or children for the sake of God’s kingdom

In the sixth month of Elizabeth’s pregnancy, the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a town of Galilee called Nazareth,
