But he said to them, “How is it that they say that the Christ is David’s son?

As all the people were listening, Jesus said to his disciples,

Then he told them a parable: “Look at the fig tree and all the other trees.

Then he took a cup, and after giving thanks he said, “Take this and divide it among yourselves.

When he came to the place, he said to them, “Pray that you will not fall into temptation.”

But Jesus said to him, “Judas, would you betray the Son of Man with a kiss?”

And Jesus said to him, “I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise.”

When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his feet.

Then Jesus asked, “Who was it who touched me?” When they all denied it, Peter said, “Master, the crowds are surrounding you and pressing against you!”

Then he said to another, ‘And how much do you owe?’ The second man replied, ‘A hundred measures of wheat.’ The manager said to him, ‘Take your bill, and write eighty.’

So the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God!

Mary said to the angel, “How will this be, since I have not had sexual relations with a man?”

Simeon took him in his arms and blessed God, saying,

Jesus answered him, “It is said, ‘You are not to put the Lord your God to the test.’”

And he added, “I tell you the truth, no prophet is acceptable in his hometown.

When Jesus saw their faith he said, “Friend, your sins are forgiven.”

He also told them a parable: “Someone who is blind cannot lead another who is blind, can he? Won’t they both fall into a pit?

That is why I did not presume to come to you. Instead, say the word, and my servant must be healed.

When the Lord saw her, he had compassion for her and said to her, “Do not weep.”

He said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”
