Jesus told the servants, “Fill the water jars with water.” So they filled them up to the very top.

So he told them, “My Father is working until now, and I too am working.”

All have turned away, together they have become worthless; there is no one who shows kindness, not even one.”

He will also strengthen you to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Then he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep.

For the hidden power of lawlessness is already at work. However, the one who holds him back will do so until he is taken out of the way,

The one who says he is in the light but still hates his fellow Christian is still in the darkness.

Immediately Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and go ahead of him to the other side, while he dispersed the crowds.

Then Peter came to him and said, “Lord, how many times must I forgive my brother who sins against me? As many as seven times?”

‘The Lord said to my lord, “Sit at my right hand, until I put your enemies under your feet”’?

For I tell you, you will not see me from now until you say, ‘Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord!’”

For then there will be great suffering unlike anything that has happened from the beginning of the world until now, or ever will happen.

For just like the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so the coming of the Son of Man will be.

And they knew nothing until the flood came and took them all away. It will be the same at the coming of the Son of Man.

Then Jesus went with them to a place called Gethsemane, and he said to the disciples, “Sit here while I go over there and pray.”

But Peter was following him from a distance, all the way to the high priest’s courtyard. After going in, he sat with the guards to see the outcome.

Just then the temple curtain was torn in two, from top to bottom. The earth shook and the rocks were split apart.
