other than this one thing I shouted out while I stood before them: ‘I am on trial before you today concerning the resurrection of the dead.’”

that the Christ was to suffer and be the first to rise from the dead, to proclaim light both to our people and to the Gentiles.”

but also for our sake, to whom it will be credited, those who believe in the one who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead.

Otherwise, what will those do who are baptized for the dead? If the dead are not raised at all, then why are they baptized for them?

From Paul, an apostle (not from men, nor by human agency, but by Jesus Christ and God the Father who raised him from the dead)
