“No one lights a lamp and then covers it with a jar or puts it under a bed, but puts it on a lampstand so that those who come in can see the light.

“No one after lighting a lamp puts it in a hidden place or under a basket, but on a lampstand, so that those who come in can see the light.

Then he took it down, wrapped it in a linen cloth, and placed it in a tomb cut out of the rock, where no one had yet been buried.

No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day.

So Jesus added, “Because of this I told you that no one can come to me unless the Father has allowed him to come.”

For no one who seeks to make a reputation for himself does anything in secret. If you are doing these things, show yourself to the world.”

Hasn’t Moses given you the law? Yet not one of you keeps the law! Why do you want to kill me?”

So then they tried to seize Jesus, but no one laid a hand on him, because his time had not yet come.

She replied, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said, “I do not condemn you either. Go, and from now on do not sin any more.”]]

(Jesus spoke these words near the offering box while he was teaching in the temple courts. No one seized him because his time had not yet come.)

We must perform the deeds of the one who sent me as long as it is daytime. Night is coming when no one can work.

My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one can snatch them from my Father’s hand.

Jesus replied, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Now at the place where Jesus was crucified there was a garden, and in the garden was a new tomb where no one had yet been buried.

because I am with you, and no one will assault you to harm you, because I have many people in this city.”

None of the rulers of this age understood it. If they had known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

I say this to your shame! Is there no one among you wise enough to settle disputes between fellow Christians?

With regard then to eating food sacrificed to idols, we know that “an idol in this world is nothing,” and that “there is no God but one.”

For no one has ever hated his own body but he feeds it and takes care of it, just as Christ also does the church,

He alone possesses immortality and lives in unapproachable light, whom no human has ever seen or is able to see. To him be honor and eternal power! Amen.
