Who can understand the spreading of the clouds, the thunderings of his pavilion?

“Pay attention to this, Job! Stand still and consider the wonders God works.

Have you considered the vast expanses of the earth? Tell me, if you know it all!

that you may take them to their borders and perceive the pathways to their homes?

He is the one who forms every human heart, and takes note of all their actions.

Evil men will soon disappear; you will stare at the spot where they once were, but they will be gone.

Wealthy people do not understand; they are like animals that perish.

Then I entered the precincts of God’s temple, and understood the destiny of the wicked.

Then they say, “The Lord does not see this; the God of Jacob does not take notice of it.”

Whoever is wise, let him take note of these things! Let them consider the Lord’s acts of loyal love!

then you will understand how to fear the Lord, and you will discover knowledge about God.

Then you will understand righteousness and justice and equity – every good way.

and I saw among the naive – I discerned among the youths – a young man who lacked wisdom.

Wisdom is found in the words of the discerning person, but the one who lacks wisdom will be disciplined.

The scorner seeks wisdom but finds none, but understanding is easy for a discerning person.

The wisdom of the shrewd person is to discern his way, but the folly of fools is deception.

A naive person believes everything, but the shrewd person discerns his steps.
