When the Israelites would see the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses’ face shone, Moses would put the veil on his face again, until he went in to speak with the Lord.

When some shepherds came and drove them away, Moses came up and defended them and then watered their flock.

Moses agreed to stay with the man, and he gave his daughter Zipporah to Moses in marriage.

The Lord said, “Throw it to the ground.” So he threw it to the ground, and it became a snake, and Moses ran from it.

Then Moses and Aaron went and brought together all the Israelite elders.

When they went out from Pharaoh, they encountered Moses and Aaron standing there to meet them,

But Moses said before the Lord, “Since I speak with difficulty, why should Pharaoh listen to me?”

So the Lord said to Moses, “See, I have made you like God to Pharaoh, and your brother Aaron will be your prophet.

And Moses and Aaron did so; they did just as the Lord commanded them.

The Lord said to Moses, “Pharaoh’s heart is hard; he refuses to release the people.

Then Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron and said, “Go, sacrifice to your God within the land.”

But Moses said, “Will you also provide us with sacrifices and burnt offerings that we may present them to the Lord our God?

Moses said, “As you wish! I will not see your face again.”

Moses said, “Thus says the Lord: ‘About midnight I will go throughout Egypt,

The Lord said to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt,

and the Israelites went away and did exactly as the Lord had commanded Moses and Aaron.

Now the Israelites had done as Moses told them – they had requested from the Egyptians silver and gold items and clothing.

The Lord said to Moses, “Why do you cry out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on.

The entire company of Israelites murmured against Moses and Aaron in the desert.

Moses said to them, “No one is to keep any of it until morning.”
