He made a covering for the tent out of ram skins dyed red and over that a covering of fine leather.

This is what Moses did, according to all the Lord had commanded him – so he did.

And he set the bread in order on it before the Lord, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.

Then he set up the lamps before the Lord, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.

Then Pharaoh commanded all his people, “All sons that are born you must throw into the river, but all daughters you may let live.”

Then the Lord said to Moses, “Now you will see what I will do to Pharaoh, for compelled by my strong hand he will release them, and by my strong hand he will drive them out of his land.”

But when Pharaoh saw that there was relief, he hardened his heart and did not listen to them, just as the Lord had predicted.

The magicians said to Pharaoh, “It is the finger of God!” But Pharaoh’s heart remained hard, and he did not listen to them, just as the Lord had predicted.

So all the Israelites did exactly as the Lord commanded Moses and Aaron.

It will be for a sign on your hand and for frontlets on your forehead, for with a mighty hand the Lord brought us out of Egypt.”

On the sixth day they will prepare what they bring in, and it will be twice as much as they gather every other day.”

“Honor your father and your mother, that you may live a long time in the land the Lord your God is giving to you.

then his master must bring him to the judges, and he will bring him to the door or the doorposts, and his master will pierce his ear with an awl, and he shall serve him forever.

and then if he gets up and walks about outside on his staff, then the one who struck him is innocent, except he must pay for the injured person’s loss of time and see to it that he is fully healed.

“If a man strikes the eye of his male servant or his female servant so that he destroys it, he will let the servant go free as compensation for the eye.

If the ox gores a male servant or a female servant, the owner must pay thirty shekels of silver, and the ox must be stoned.

If the stolen item should in fact be found alive in his possession, whether it be an ox or a donkey or a sheep, he must pay back double.

“If a fire breaks out and spreads to thorn bushes, so that stacked grain or standing grain or the whole field is consumed, the one who started the fire must surely make restitution.

“You will be holy people to me; you must not eat any meat torn by animals in the field. You must throw it to the dogs.
