Then Rebekah and her female servants mounted the camels and rode away with the man. So Abraham’s servant took Rebekah and left.

and asked Abraham’s servant, “Who is that man walking in the field toward us?” “That is my master,” the servant replied. So she took her veil and covered herself.

The man said, “They left this area, for I heard them say, ‘Let’s go to Dothan.’” So Joseph went after his brothers and found them at Dothan.

But Judah said to him, “The man solemnly warned us, ‘You will not see my face unless your brother is with you.’

But if you will not send him, we won’t go down there because the man said to us, ‘You will not see my face unless your brother is with you.’”

May the sovereign God grant you mercy before the man so that he may release your other brother and Benjamin! As for me, if I lose my children I lose them.”

The servant in charge brought the men into Joseph’s house. He gave them water, and they washed their feet. Then he gave food to their donkeys.

He said to his daughters, “So where is he? Why in the world did you leave the man? Call him, so that he may eat a meal with us.”
