So the eleven disciples went to Galilee to the mountain Jesus had designated.

And a great storm developed on the sea so that the waves began to swamp the boat. But he was asleep.

For just like the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so the coming of the Son of Man will be.

This all happened so that what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet would be fulfilled:

So anyone who breaks one of the least of these commands and teaches others to do so will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever obeys them and teaches others to do so will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

The disciples said to him, “Where can we get enough bread in this desolate place to satisfy so great a crowd?”

So also my heavenly Father will do to you, if each of you does not forgive your brother from your heart.”

The chief priests and the whole Sanhedrin were trying to find false testimony against Jesus so that they could put him to death.

So Jesus replied to him, “Let it happen now, for it is right for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then John yielded to him.

In the same way, let your light shine before people, so that they can see your good deeds and give honor to your Father in heaven.

Then they brought to him a demon-possessed man who was blind and mute. Jesus healed him so that he could speak and see.

So they took the money and did as they were instructed. And this story is told among the Jews to this day.

So Judas threw the silver coins into the temple and left. Then he went out and hanged himself.

So they answered Jesus, “We don’t know.” Then he said to them, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I am doing these things.

So after they had assembled, Pilate said to them, “Whom do you want me to release for you, Jesus Barabbas or Jesus who is called the Christ?”

He said, ‘An enemy has done this.’ So the slaves replied, ‘Do you want us to go and gather them?’

But if he does not listen, take one or two others with you, so that at the testimony of two or three witnesses every matter may be established.

So if Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then will his kingdom stand?

So Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him: “God forbid, Lord! This must not happen to you!”

But they said, “Not during the feast, so that there won’t be a riot among the people.”
