But the court will convene, and his ruling authority will be removed – destroyed and abolished forever!

For one person is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, and another the message of knowledge according to the same Spirit,

Not all have gifts of healing, do they? Not all speak in tongues, do they? Not all interpret, do they?

For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality.

For I testify, they gave according to their means and beyond their means. They did so voluntarily,

for the one bringing forth in you both the desire and the effort – for the sake of his good pleasure – is God.

He looked for Ahaziah, who was captured while hiding in Samaria. They brought him to Jehu and then executed him. God gives a man riches, property, and wealth so that he lacks nothing that his heart desires, yet God does not enable him to enjoy the fruit of his labor – instead, someone else enjoys it! This is fruitless and a grave misfortune.

For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any double-edged sword, piercing even to the point of dividing soul from spirit, and joints from marrow; it is able to judge the desires and thoughts of the heart.

If she does not please her master, who has designated her for himself, then he must let her be redeemed. He has no right to sell her to a foreign nation, because he has dealt deceitfully with her.

The Lord’s spirit empowered him and he tore the lion in two with his bare hands as easily as one would tear a young goat. But he did not tell his father or mother what he had done.
