You may live among us, and the land will be open to you. Live in it, travel freely in it, and acquire property in it.”

His brothers were jealous of him, but his father kept in mind what Joseph said.

He replied, “I’m looking for my brothers. Please tell me where they are grazing their flocks.”

Then the man searched. He began with the oldest and finished with the youngest. The cup was found in Benjamin’s sack!

He said to his people, “Look at the Israelite people, more numerous and stronger than we are!

They said, “An Egyptian man rescued us from the shepherds, and he actually drew water for us and watered the flock!”

But I know that the king of Egypt will not let you go, not even under force.
