“‘This is the law of the peace offering sacrifice which he is to present to the Lord.

The Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying to them,

“‘When you sacrifice a peace offering sacrifice to the Lord, you must sacrifice it so that it is accepted for you.

In the fourth year all its fruit will be holy, praise offerings to the Lord.

“‘You must keep my Sabbaths and fear my sanctuary. I am the Lord.

You must be sure to obey my statutes. I am the Lord who sanctifies you.

He must not eat an animal that has died of natural causes or an animal torn by beasts and thus become unclean by it. I am the Lord.

When you sacrifice a thanksgiving offering to the Lord, you must sacrifice it so that it is acceptable for your benefit.

You must not do any regular work, but you must present a gift to the Lord.’”

So Moses spoke to the Israelites about the appointed times of the Lord.

The Lord spoke to Moses at Mount Sinai:

You must keep my Sabbaths and reverence my sanctuary. I am the Lord.

just as the Lord had commanded Moses. And so he numbered them in the wilderness of Sinai.

The Lord spoke to Moses and to Aaron:

Then the Lord spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai:

So Moses numbered them according to the word of the Lord, just as he had been commanded.

Then the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron:

The Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.”’
