For whoever has will be given more, and will have an abundance. But whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him.

He presented them with another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a person who sowed good seed in his field.

Because he was not able to repay it, the lord ordered him to be sold, along with his wife, children, and whatever he possessed, and repayment to be made.

telling them, “Go to the village ahead of you. Right away you will find a donkey tied there, and a colt with her. Untie them and bring them to me.

If anyone says anything to you, you are to say, ‘The Lord needs them,’ and he will send them at once.”

And he said to them, “It is written, ‘My house will be called a house of prayer,’ but you are turning it into a den of robbers!”

So they answered Jesus, “We don’t know.” Then he said to them, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I am doing these things.

When the harvest time was near, he sent his slaves to the tenants to collect his portion of the crop.

The king was furious! He sent his soldiers, and they put those murderers to death and set their city on fire.
