and saying, “If you are the king of the Jews, save yourself!”

Then a man from the crowd cried out, “Teacher, I beg you to look at my son – he is my only child!

As he said these things, a woman in the crowd spoke out to him, “Blessed is the womb that bore you and the breasts at which you nursed!”

Simon (whom he named Peter), and his brother Andrew; and James, John, Philip, Bartholomew,

Then someone from the crowd said to him, “Teacher, tell my brother to divide the inheritance with me.”

But when you host an elaborate meal, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, and the blind.

He said also to the man who had invited him, “When you host a dinner or a banquet, don’t invite your friends or your brothers or your relatives or rich neighbors so you can be invited by them in return and get repaid.
