But he will reply, ‘I don’t know where you come from! Go away from me, all you evildoers!’

Then you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you, for you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.”

Then the father said to him, ‘Son, you are always with me, and everything that belongs to me is yours.

He answered them, “I will also ask you a question, and you tell me:

“But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation has come near.

But when these things begin to happen, stand up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”

So also you, when you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near.

And he said to them, “I have earnestly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer.

So they said, “Look, Lord, here are two swords.” Then he told them, “It is enough.”

so that you may know for certain the things you were taught.

“Now, according to your word, Sovereign Lord, permit your servant to depart in peace.

He told them, “Collect no more than you are required to.”

So then, if you will worship me, all this will be yours.”

and ‘with their hands they will lift you up, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’”

“But woe to you who are rich, for you have received your comfort already.

Treat others in the same way that you would want them to treat you.

What did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I tell you, and more than a prophet.

Whenever you enter a house, first say, ‘May peace be on this house!’

And you, Capernaum, will you be exalted to heaven? No, you will be thrown down to Hades!
