Jesus was teaching daily in the temple courts. The chief priests and the experts in the law and the prominent leaders among the people were seeking to assassinate him,

The women were terribly frightened and bowed their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead?

How can you believe, if you accept praise from one another and don’t seek the praise that comes from the only God?

After this Jesus traveled throughout Galilee. He stayed out of Judea because the Jewish leaders wanted to kill him.

For no one who seeks to make a reputation for himself does anything in secret. If you are doing these things, show yourself to the world.”
