Now Jesus was standing by the Lake of Gennesaret, and the crowd was pressing around him to hear the word of God.

He saw two boats by the lake, but the fishermen had gotten out of them and were washing their nets.

Then he came up and touched the bier, and those who carried it stood still. He said, “Young man, I say to you, get up!”

But I tell you most certainly, there are some standing here who will not experience death before they see the kingdom of God.”

So if Satan too is divided against himself, how will his kingdom stand? I ask you this because you claim that I cast out demons by Beelzebul.

And all those who knew Jesus stood at a distance, and the women who had followed him from Galilee saw these things.

Thus they were looking for Jesus, and saying to one another as they stood in the temple courts, “What do you think? That he won’t come to the feast?”

The crowd that stood there and heard the voice said that it had thundered. Others said that an angel had spoken to him.

When she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, but she did not know that it was Jesus.

When it was already very early morning, Jesus stood on the beach, but the disciples did not know that it was Jesus.

But Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, looked intently toward heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God.

“Look!” he said. “I see the heavens opened, and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God!”

Then he fell to his knees and cried out with a loud voice, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them!” When he had said this, he died.

So he ordered the chariot to stop, and both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, and Philip baptized him.
