They ran through that whole region and began to bring the sick on mats to wherever he was rumored to be.

In those days there was another large crowd with nothing to eat. So Jesus called his disciples and said to them,

Then a cloud overshadowed them, and a voice came from the cloud, “This is my one dear Son. Listen to him!”

Jesus asked his father, “How long has this been happening to him?” And he said, “From childhood.

So they brought one, and he said to them, “Whose image is this, and whose inscription?” They replied, “Caesar’s.”

Jesus said to them, “Aren’t you deceived for this reason, because you don’t know the scriptures or the power of God?

Jesus said to him, “Do you see these great buildings? Not one stone will be left on another. All will be torn down!”

For nation will rise up in arms against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places, and there will be famines. These are but the beginning of birth pains.

“But as for that day or hour no one knows it – neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son – except the Father.

While they were eating, he took bread, and after giving thanks he broke it, gave it to them, and said, “Take it. This is my body.”

Jesus said to him, “I tell you the truth, today – this very night – before a rooster crows twice, you will deny me three times.”

He said, “Abba, Father, all things are possible for you. Take this cup away from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.”

“We heard him say, ‘I will destroy this temple made with hands and in three days build another not made with hands.’”

Then the high priest stood up before them and asked Jesus, “Have you no answer? What is this that they are testifying against you?”

Now when the centurion, who stood in front of him, saw how he died, he said, “Truly this man was God’s Son!”

They went out and proclaimed everywhere, while the Lord worked with them and confirmed the word through the accompanying signs.]]

They were all amazed so that they asked each other, “What is this? A new teaching with authority! He even commands the unclean spirits and they obey him.”
