Nevertheless I must go on my way today and tomorrow and the next day, because it is impossible that a prophet should be killed outside Jerusalem.’

I am no longer worthy to be called your son; treat me like one of your hired workers.”’

I know what to do so that when I am put out of management, people will welcome me into their homes.’

Jesus said to him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone.

And he said to them, “I have earnestly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer.

Jesus replied, “I tell you, Peter, the rooster will not crow today until you have denied three times that you know me.”

His disciples remembered that it was written, “Zeal for your house will devour me.”

Then Jesus said, “I will be with you for only a little while longer, and then I am going to the one who sent me.

I testify about myself and the Father who sent me testifies about me.”

Who among you can prove me guilty of any sin? If I am telling you the truth, why don’t you believe me?

Jesus answered, “I am not possessed by a demon, but I honor my Father – and yet you dishonor me.
