So Philip started speaking, and beginning with this scripture proclaimed the good news about Jesus to him.

So Peter was kept in prison, but those in the church were earnestly praying to God for him.

But the magician Elymas (for that is the way his name is translated) opposed them, trying to turn the proconsul away from the faith.
