Then Moses and Aaron fell down with their faces to the ground before the whole assembled community of the Israelites.

But truly, as I live, all the earth will be filled with the glory of the Lord.

they will by no means see the land that I swore to their fathers, nor will any of them who despised me see it.

When Moses told these things to all the Israelites, the people mourned greatly.

“‘Every native-born person must do these things in this way to present an offering made by fire as a pleasing aroma to the Lord.

When he had finished speaking all these words, the ground that was under them split open,

(17:28) Anyone who even comes close to the tabernacle of the Lord will die! Are we all to die?”

You are to eat it as a most holy offering; every male may eat it. It will be holy to you.

And every open container that has no covering fastened on it is unclean.

And whatever the unclean person touches will be unclean, and the person who touches it will be unclean until evening.’”

So the entire company of Israelites traveled from Kadesh and came to Mount Hor.

So Moses did as the Lord commanded; and they went up Mount Hor in the sight of the whole community.
