But my people did not obey me; Israel did not submit to me.

A psalm of David. O Lord, hear my prayer! Pay attention to my plea for help! Because of your faithfulness and justice, answer me!

Blessed is the one who listens to me, watching at my doors day by day, waiting beside my doorway.

Listen to your father who begot you, and do not despise your mother when she is old.

But listen to what I say to you and to all these people.
