The Lord spoke to Moses:

“‘Every native-born person must do these things in this way to present an offering made by fire as a pleasing aroma to the Lord.

You must have one law for the person who sins unintentionally, both for the native-born among the Israelites and for the resident foreigner who lives among them.

So Eleazar the priest took the bronze censers presented by those who had been burned up, and they were hammered out as a covering for the altar.

The Lord said to Moses, “Make a poisonous snake and set it on a pole. When anyone who is bitten looks at it, he will live.”

And from there they traveled to Beer; that is the well where the Lord spoke to Moses, “Gather the people and I will give them water.”

“‘All the days that he separates himself to the Lord he must not contact a dead body.

“‘If you sin unintentionally and do not observe all these commandments that the Lord has spoken to Moses –

“‘If any person sins unintentionally, then he must bring a yearling female goat for a purification offering.

Then they traveled on from Oboth and camped at Iye Abarim, in the wilderness that is before Moab, on the eastern side.

So they defeated Og, his sons, and all his people, until there were no survivors, and they possessed his land.

So Balak did just as Balaam had said. Balak and Balaam then offered on each altar a bull and a ram.

Edom will be a possession, Seir, his enemies, will also be a possession; but Israel will act valiantly.

On the seventh day you are to have a holy assembly, you must do no regular work.

“‘On the third day you must offer eleven bulls, two rams, fourteen lambs one year old, all without blemish,

“‘On the fourth day you must offer ten bulls, two rams, and fourteen lambs one year old, all without blemish,
