When he heard a crowd going by, he asked what was going on.

“What do you want me to do for you?” He replied, “Lord, let me see again.”

A dispute also started among them over which of them was to be regarded as the greatest.

For if such things are done when the wood is green, what will happen when it is dry?”

(Now Jesus said this to test him, for he knew what he was going to do.)

So then they said to him, “What must we do to accomplish the deeds God requires?”

The crowd answered, “You’re possessed by a demon! Who is trying to kill you?”

Then they said to him, “What did he do to you? How did he cause you to see?”

The man replied, “And who is he, sir, that I may believe in him?”

“Why wasn’t this oil sold for three hundred silver coins and the money given to the poor?”

The disciples began to look at one another, worried and perplexed to know which of them he was talking about.

(Now none of those present at the table understood why Jesus said this to Judas.

Then Jesus asked them again, “Who are you looking for?” And they said, “Jesus the Nazarene.”

So when Peter saw him, he asked Jesus, “Lord, what about him?”

if we are being examined today for a good deed done to a sick man – by what means this man was healed –

Therefore when you sent for me, I came without any objection. Now may I ask why you sent for me?”

So Paul said, “Into what then were you baptized?” “Into John’s baptism,” they replied.

Why do you people think it is unbelievable that God raises the dead?

What then shall we say that Abraham, our ancestor according to the flesh, has discovered regarding this matter?

What shall we say then? Are we to remain in sin so that grace may increase?
