The Son of Man has come eating and drinking, and you say, ‘Look at him, a glutton and a drunk, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’

Then when a woman of that town, who was a sinner, learned that Jesus was dining at the Pharisee’s house, she brought an alabaster jar of perfumed oil.

Then a man from the crowd cried out, “Teacher, I beg you to look at my son – he is my only child!

A spirit seizes him, and he suddenly screams; it throws him into convulsions and causes him to foam at the mouth. It hardly ever leaves him alone, torturing him severely.

Now an expert in religious law stood up to test Jesus, saying, “Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?”

and a woman was there who had been disabled by a spirit for eighteen years. She was bent over and could not straighten herself up completely.

But he said to them, “Go and tell that fox, ‘Look, I am casting out demons and performing healings today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will complete my work.

Then another slave came and said, ‘Sir, here is your mina that I put away for safekeeping in a piece of cloth.

While he was still speaking, suddenly a crowd appeared, and the man named Judas, one of the twelve, was leading them. He walked up to Jesus to kiss him.

For this is certain: The days are coming when they will say, ‘Blessed are the barren, the wombs that never bore children, and the breasts that never nursed!’

While they were perplexed about this, suddenly two men stood beside them in dazzling attire.

Now that very day two of them were on their way to a village called Emmaus, about seven miles from Jerusalem.

So Jesus came outside, wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe. Pilate said to them, “Look, here is the man!”

As they were still staring into the sky while he was going, suddenly two men in white clothing stood near them

“Look!” he said. “I see the heavens opened, and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God!”

Now as they were going along the road, they came to some water, and the eunuch said, “Look, there is water! What is to stop me from being baptized?”

So Peter went down to the men and said, “Here I am, the person you’re looking for. Why have you come?”

At that very moment, three men sent to me from Caesarea approached the house where we were staying.

He also came to Derbe and to Lystra. A disciple named Timothy was there, the son of a Jewish woman who was a believer, but whose father was a Greek.

And now, compelled by the Spirit, I am going to Jerusalem without knowing what will happen to me there,
