“This is what the Lord has commanded: ‘Each person is to gather from it what he can eat, an omer per person according to the number of your people; each one will pick it up for whoever lives in his tent.’”

“If men fight, and one strikes his neighbor with a stone or with his fist and he does not die, but must remain in bed,

“If a man opens a pit or if a man digs a pit and does not cover it, and an ox or a donkey falls into it,

“If a man gives his neighbor money or articles for safekeeping, and it is stolen from the man’s house, if the thief is caught, he must repay double.

So all the skilled people who were doing all the work on the sanctuary came from the work they were doing

He joined five of the curtains to one another, and the other five curtains he joined to one another.

“Speak to the Israelites and tell them, ‘If any man’s wife goes astray and behaves unfaithfully toward him,

and a man has sexual relations with her without her husband knowing it, and it is hidden that she has defiled herself, since there was no witness against her, nor was she caught –

and said to him, “Your servants have taken a count of the men who were in the battle, who were under our authority, and not one is missing.

“Not a single person of this evil generation will see the good land that I promised to give to your ancestors!

Or who among you has planted a vineyard and not benefited from it? He may go home, lest he die in battle and someone else benefit from it.

Or who among you has become engaged to a woman but has not married her? He may go home, lest he die in battle and someone else marry her.”

But the woman hid the two men and replied, “Yes, these men were clients of mine, but I didn’t know where they came from.
